This family home with beautiful views across Marlow, wanted to maximise it’s large south facing rear roof.
With the home owners working from home all day this 16 panel, 6.24kWp system suits them perfectly. The system is supported by a 5.8kWh SolaX battery which enables them to to store the excess power for when the kids come home from school and the demands on the power increases.
The inverter and battery come with a handy monitoring app, this allows the customer to gain a better understanding of how, and when, the energy is being used within the home. The data below shows that during the month of June they were almost 90% ‘off grid’, and overall the summer months shows that they were 95% off grid!
The family continue to see heavy savings on their energy bills and with winter and the shorter days approaching, they are considering in investing in another battery. This will allow them to charge from the cheaper night time tariff and use that energy into the evening,
