Our process: from design to commission and beyond

We can carry out a quick hassle free feasibility study from online satellite images to see if your roof can have solar panels, if so how many. We then create a 3D model that will show the panels on your property and simulate any shading. We will then prepare a quotation that will suit your needs, stating the system performance, estimated annual electricity generation and annual savings.

Once you have agreed to the quotation. Your Solar PV installer will come to meet with you at your home or business to carry out a detailed survey of the property so that we can fine tune the design for the installation and discuss where equipment will go and cables will run.

Once your order is placed your installation will proceed within 2 – 3 weeks. Scaffolding will be erected by our trusted partners around 3 days prior to installation and be up for a week. The installation will take approximately 2 days and then your system will be commissioned. We will set you up a monitoring app so you can see all the lovely free energy you are generating. We also have an installer log in and will check your system remotely intermittently.

The final step is to supply you with your handover pack, this includes your MCS certificate, system details and warranties. We will also notify the DNO (Distribution Network Operator) of the installation who will send an approval email back to us. Once you have this you can apply for payback from the grid with your energy supplier, via the government backed SEG tariff.
